Scrolling through TikTok you’ll find endless videos sharing life hacks, everything from tips for cleaning your bathroom to cooking tricks.
Recently one user has garnered a lot of attention on the social media platform for his video about pizza.
Sean Gonzalez, who posts under @cyclopsean, shared a clip of himself reheating leftover slices of pizza in a toaster and was branded “crazy” and “insane” in the comments by concerned viewers.
This is because in the video he picks up two slices of pizza, puts them in the toaster and pushes it down before turning the device on its side.
He then places a plate in front of the slots and when the toaster is done, the pizza slices pop straight out onto it.
The video was captioned: “I need people to start respecting my skill and innovation.”
Thousands have watched the video with over 238,000 people liking it and over 1,100 commenting.
Some people thought the method was a good idea, but others were more interested in what was on his pizza and they weren’t impressed.
One person replied: “These are the life hacks we actually need.”
A second said: “Bro you got pineapple on a pizza just no.”
“I. Sorry. Is. That. Pineapple. On. Your. Pizza,” said a third.
“He’s got pineapple on pizza so he’s insane,” proclaimed another.
Despite comments like these, a number of TikTok users saw sense and pointed out how dangerous and “crazy” the whole thing was – urging others not to try this for themselves at home or risk setting their kitchen on fire.
A fellow TikTok fan begged: “Y’all PLEASE do not do this omg.”
A few shared their own experiences with putting things in the toaster and it ending badly.
“And that is how my toaster caught on fire. No I’m not joking,” admitted a different user.
“My ex tried this and almost burnt down our apartment,” added another.
A third responded: “Ahh I did this once and the cheese melted into my toaster.”
So there you have it folks – don’t try this at home!
